MARCH 1, 2018

C3KC seeks to leverage the strengths of the three primary social sectors – Nonprofit Organizations, Corporations and Entrepreneurs, and Civic Leaders – to analyze community problems and come up with impactful, collaborative and sustainable solutions that will help shape the future of our community. The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, with more than 100 years of service to this community, is capitalizing on its knowledge and history to convene this gathering and bring members of these three sectors together and develop and enhance those leadership competencies that will allow us to effectively address our complex community issues. Those competencies include:

  • Collaborative Mindset
  • Relationship Building Across Sectors
  • Understanding Language, Culture, and Motivations of Each Sector
  • Vision and Imagination
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit
  • Building Integrated Networks and Information Exchanges

Why would you or your organization want to participate in C3KC?

This event will be a catalyst for creative problem solving and re-thinking how we address issues in our community. More importantly, the skills learned will expand your personal leadership skills while bringing additional value to your organization. Participation in C3KC will help:

  • Foster partnerships
  • Empower advancement through education and training
  • Prepare leaders to tackle the issues facing our community, together
  • Expand knowledge of important competencies relevant to today’s workforce
  • Create energy to unleash the power of an engaged citizenry
