Learn MoreJoin us Thursday, April 20 at 6:00 pm, for a fun happy hour experience and silent auction supporting the League! This year’s event will be at The Martin Event Space, 13440 Holmes Road, KCMO.
The League works to improve our community with a wide range of programs. Signature Programs focus on women and children. Community Volunteers and Grants provide grants and volunteers to area nonprofits. The Community Endowment Fund provides grants for crisis needs and Action Team provides volunteers for events. To learn more about our Community Programs, plan to join us in June 2022 for our next Community Engagement Breakfast.
Learn MoreWe believe effectively trained volunteers make our community a better place. We accomplish this by promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. As a 501(c)(3) organization, our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Since 1914, the JLKCMO has been making a difference in the Kansas City community by matching our resources to the needs of the community and providing comprehensive training opportunities for our nearly 1,200 volunteers. We have raised 19 million dollars for our mission and donated more than 2.6 million hours of volunteer time to more than 350 agencies. Our current focus area is women and children.
