We appreciate your interest in the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri and welcome you to join us! For over 95 years, the JLKCMO has been both a powerful organization of trained women volunteers and a vital part of area philanthropy.
Membership in JLKCMO is open to all women who are 21 years of age and who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. The JLKCMO reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins. The JLKCMO has over 400 active and 800 sustainer members and, as a member of the Association of Junior Leagues, is one of nearly 300 Junior League chapters in the US, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
Informational meetings for prospective members will be held at JLKCMO headquarters on the following dates:
- Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 6:30 PM
- Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 6:30 PM
- Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM
- Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM
Application packets will be made available around that time. Application for membership will be due April 1st, 2011.
